Master’s Programme

An advanced one-year higher education programme designed for young graduates who want to specialise and acquire solid, practical skills.

At the end of the Master’s, you will obtain:

  • 60 ECTS and a Final Diploma awarded by Politecnico di Milano
  • Solid expertise in skills for the sustainable transition
  • In-depth knowledge of the strategic Net Zero sectors

During the programme, you will develop expertise in:

  • General Management and Strategy for Sustainability financial accounting, innovation, and sustainable strategy
  • Sustainable Design and Operations sustainable supply chain, green logistics, lifecycle assessment, and circular economy
  • Industrial Sustainability & Net Zero Sectors energy management and sector-specific Net Zero challenges, culminating in a mentored, team-based Final Project

Master’s Programme admits up to 70 participants, selected among candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree who meet the admission requirements.

Bootcamp

An intensive 4-month training programme designed for young talents, both graduates and non-graduates, who want to acquire practical skills for the green transition.

At the end of the Bootcamp, you will obtain:

  • Certificate of participation
  • LinkedIn Open Badge

During the programme, you will develop your expertise through a structured three-phase journey:

  • Phase 1 – First Challenge a three-week interdisciplinary challenge focused on key sustainability megatrends
  • Phase 2 – Deep-dive Challenges four two-week challenges within your chosen specialisation: Future Cities, Energy & Society, or Future Industry & Manufacturing
  • Phase 3 – Hackathon an intensive, team-based experience where you tackle real sustainability challenges in small groups

The Bootcamp admits up to 180 participants, selected from candidates who meet the  admission requirements.

Find answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Master's: The programme is open to recent graduates who were born in or after 1990 and have at least a B2 level of English.

Bootcamp: The bootcamp is designed for current students or graduates born in or after 1986. Applicants should have B2 level English and either a bachelor’s degree or a higher technical qualification. They should also be resident of one of the following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Hungary.

The Master's runs for 12 months and is aimed at recent graduates who want an in‑depth understanding of sustainable transition and the Net Zero framework. The Bootcamp, on the other hand, lasts 5 months. It is more intensive, hands‑on, and practice oriented, and it welcomes both students and graduates.

Yes. Participants in the Master's receive an official Master’s Diploma from Politecnico di Milano. Those who complete the Bootcamp receive a Certificate of Attendance along with a LinkedIn Open Badge.

Yes, both the Master's and the Bootcamp are completely free for participants. The entire cost is fully covered by UniCredit. Please note that only the final ceremony of both programmes is held in person in Milan, and participants will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses.

Master's programme only: selected students are responsible for administrative fees amounting to €350. Of this amount, €300 will be reimbursed within three months, while the remaining €50 is non‑refundable. The €300 fee may also be required if the participant needs to proceed with the recognition of their bachelor’s degree obtained at a foreign university.

All classes are delivered in English, so participants need to have at least a B2 level of proficiency.

Throughout the programmes, participants get the chance to work on real projects together with companies engaged in the green transition. They will also tackle actual business challenges provided by industry partners and take part in hands‑on activities to apply the skills they learn.

Master's: about 20 hours per week. Classes will take place in the afternoon, generally between 15:00 CET and 19:00 CET.

Bootcamp: around 15 hours per week. Classes will be held in the late afternoon, from 17:30 CET to 20:30 CET, with some additional one‑to‑one sessions scheduled in specific time slots between 12:30 CET and 14:00 CET.

To apply, candidates need to complete the online application on the official programme website and upload their CV, degree certificate, and motivation letter. All applications are then checked to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria listed online.

The final application deadline is 10 July 2026. The selection process will take place in three waves: the first deadline is 20 April, the second is 9 June, and the third is 10 July 2026. Candidates may be selected after each wave, so the earlier you apply, the higher your chances of being admitted.
